Scope of this policy
This policy applies to Velante Design's paid strategy sessions, website design and development projects, and any separately agreed add-ons. It explains how to request cancellations, withdraw from an eligible consumer contract and seek a refund. The agreed project proposal and mandatory consumer law also apply.
We aim to handle every request fairly and transparently. We do not use a blanket “all payments are non-refundable” rule.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email velante.design@outlook.com with your name, contact email, the service purchased, the date of your agreement or payment, and a short description of your request. You may also call +40 732 988 022. Where the law gives you a withdrawal right, an unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw is sufficient; you do not have to provide a reason.
We will review the request, confirm the applicable status and explain any amount due or refundable. We may need the relevant invoice or transaction reference to locate the payment.
1-to-1 strategy session — 1,000 RON
Before a session takes place, you may contact us to request rescheduling or cancellation. We will confirm the appointment time, practical booking conditions and any applicable cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If we cannot provide the agreed session, we will offer an alternative date or a refund for the undelivered service.
If you are a consumer, statutory distance-contract withdrawal rights may apply regardless of our appointment policy. If you expressly ask us to conduct the session during a statutory withdrawal period, special rules may apply to a service begun or fully performed in that period, as described below.
Website projects — 8,900 RON / 9,900 RON
Because website work is tailored to each client, we agree on the scope, project milestones, payments and timing before work begins. If you cancel before work starts, we will normally return advance payments for services not performed, subject to any lawful and clearly agreed, non-recoverable third-party costs.
If you cancel after work begins, we will provide a reasonable breakdown of work performed, any agreed external expenses and amounts already paid. Any amount to be retained must be justified by the agreement and applicable law; the unused or unearned portion is refunded where due. We do not automatically treat the full project fee as earned merely because a deposit was received.
If we materially fail to deliver an agreed service, contact us first so we can investigate and propose a remedy. Statutory remedies for non-conforming services remain available where applicable.
Consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer under applicable Romanian/EU distance-selling law, you generally have 14 calendar days from the date the service contract is concluded to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions. The right does not apply automatically in the same way to contracts entered into exclusively for business purposes.
You can exercise an applicable withdrawal right by sending a clear statement to velante.design@outlook.com before the deadline. You may use the example form below, but it is not compulsory.
If you expressly request that we begin performing a service during the withdrawal period, and then lawfully withdraw before completion, an amount proportionate to the service already provided may be payable, but only where the applicable information, request and legal conditions have been satisfied. A withdrawal right may be lost after full performance of a service during the withdrawal period only where all legally required prior consent and acknowledgment conditions have been met. We do not assume that an automatically generated website or a personalised project removes consumer rights.
Nothing in this policy removes statutory rights regarding non-conforming services or digital content.
Refund timing and method
Where a statutory consumer withdrawal refund is due, we reimburse without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your valid withdrawal notice, subject to applicable law. Refunds are ordinarily issued to the original payment method, unless another method is lawfully agreed without extra cost to you. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to post the funds.
For other approved refunds, we will communicate the amount, method and expected processing time in writing. We do not promise immediate bank settlement.
Changes requested after approval
Additional pages, features, integrations or a substantial design change requested after approval may be separately quoted. If the change is not approved, we continue with the original agreed scope where practicable. A change request does not automatically entitle either party to cancel or retain unrelated fees.
